Death-Defying Faith: It’s Actually That Powerful
The Jewish exiles have to make a choice: obey the king or Yahweh. God rewards them for putting their death-defying faith in Him, showing up in a miraculous way.
Confidence in the Covenant: It’s Actually Still Relevant
Rather than placing his trust in a capricious king, Daniel put his confidence in the covenant and his God who came through again in a miraculous way.
Determine to be Different: It’s Actually the Law
Daniel went into exile determined to be different, his life was in danger, but he clung to his identity as a child of God in a foreign land.
