The Armour of Light series is a clarion call to all who would walk in the Light. Donita Bundy has been gently but firmly calling us to peel the scales from our eyes and to seek to notice the reality of the world around us. Book 5, Liberating Persecution, reminds us that we are all “somebody’s someone” and, therefore we each have a responsibility to recognise and respond to the pain, suffering, and distress of our companions on the way. As Cissa would say ‘friends it is time for us to step out of hiding and into our Calling, to start being intentional about who we are and what we’re doing as a community’. Liberating Persecution challenges us to respond to the lure of Hope of in our lives.
