Place: Somerset Writers Group Anthology 2022

In June 2022 Somerset Regional Council, in partnership with the Queensland Government, provided a Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grant to fund the “10 Stories” project. Members of the community were invited to participate and challenged to pen a short story of “Place”: their unique experience of living within the Somerset region.

Council contracted the help of Nycole Prowse—author, producer, director, educator and scholar (among many other things) to guide the creative part of the project. The Somerset Writers Group would like to thank  Somerset Regional Council, the Queensland Government and Nycole Prowse for creating the time and space for us to produce the following stories.

• Short Stories
• Flash Fiction
• Memoir
• Poetry
