Confusion wars with joy. I was an enemy awash with the weight of distance, judged, sentenced. And yet, just as I am, I am loved. Ps 9:7-10
It is not us and them; it is us and Him. And He has acted. He has punished, He has exacted payment from the flesh of the pure Ps 9:3-6
The smallest crack in the door is enough to draw my eyes and lighten my heart in release. It is not over, but it will be soon.
Responsibility is, in equal parts, a weighted chain and wings to fly. But we all have equal access to the key to the King’s storehouse.
Fatigue suffocates the soul and devastates hope. But the breath of life animates skeletons and births life from dust.
What if choosing to worship despite the circumstances was the key to joy, and the abundant resources of Heaven?
What if we believed the promises and received the Truth: He is willing and able. He is, was, and forever will be.
What if we chose not to get distracted by the shadows?
What if travelling the B- roads and lingering in the eddies wasn’t a possible-maybe?
What if Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God”, was not what we thought?
